Location: Klang,Selangor,Malaysia.
Website: http://asm.com.my

I am retired and have a lot of time on my hand to do things I like and to answer emails.
I can't remember exactly when I started woodworking but it I know I built my own table in 1964 .
I began to buy woodworking tools when I got married and moved into a rented house. Now I have a small workshop cum garage at my own home. Formerly it was purely a workshop and I did not have to put my car inside it but when my son took over the porch parking I had no choice but to share the workshop with my old car.
In 1981 (too old to remember the date anymore !) I took a short course in woodturning at Craft Supplies, Millers Dale, Buxton, U.K . Formerly I was also a member of Society of Woodworkers ,UK. I visited Woodworkers' exhibition in UK twice.
There is no big woodworking machines in my workshop as I couldn't afford any but I have a variety of power tools. I knew how to use big machines as I co-owned a carpentry business for one year in 1992 where I made window/door frames and hollow core doors.
In 1987 I took a short course in making boats in USA before visiting my sister at Cleveland ,Ohio. I made three boats after that and that was all.

My hobbies : woodworking. welding , electronics , surfing the www and reading nonfiction.
My interests: pottery and anything mechanical.

I have written four DIY books (in Malay) and I am in the process of editing them for the fourth time and I am still not satisfied.
Contact me on any non-vulgar subjects.
