This is far from fine woodworking, but I feel the need to get something up here and start talking about what I have been working on in my new shop with my new tools. Well, there may be one or two minor things to do, but this will probably be it for the blog. As I mentioned in #1 this is my first coop and I did the plans myself. All in all it was a fun project and tested my design skills with some of the angles and details. There is one feature in particular that I am rather happy with; I rabetted the edges of the trim around the chicken door and used them as a pathway for the door to slide open vertically.
