I started woodworking by building furniture around the house. Unsuccessful for a number of years then I discovered that having the right tools would help greatly. Guess what, it did! I am starting to my second era of woodworking.

I do most of my work out of a small shed in the back of the house. So small that whenever I want to saw something, I have to take the table saw outside of the shed to cut a piece of plywood.

I work with my wife updating our old house and I only have 2 main room and one bath to go in a 4 bed, 2 bath house.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

I wanted to pose a question. Because I have a limited space for a workshop, I am always looking for ways to better use the limited tools I have. One of these is to get a tool to do double duty. For example, I have a power hand sander that I lock in place with clamps and use it as a stationary sander when I need to. I was wondering if anyone have ever built a vise or system to that will allow for a power hand planer to be use as a stationary planer.
