Just found this nifty site, joined and wanted to say hello and to thank all of the welcomes…

I am a neophyte woodworker, only been playing at it for about 30 years. Nothing major just piddling in the shop. Current shop consists of Delta 14” bandsaw, Rigid table saw, Rigid jointer, Delta planer, Rockler router table, Delta drill press, Delta dust system, Dewalt miter saw, and a Dewalt scroll saw along with assorted power and hand tools.

Currently working on bandsawn boxes for Christmas presents, and 3D scroll work.

Already learned how to cure blade drift from one of the video’s and plan on utilizing this site to learn more about this fun hobby.

So, hello, and thanks

Jeff in Akron, Ohio

Welcome, Jeff!

I’m fairly new here, and just about as new to woodworking, so … I’ll be looking forward to seeing your project pics, your workshop pics (hint, hint), and your contributions, generally.

You’ve just joined in with a really great bunch!

A hearty welcome Jeff…

Nice bike in the pix there.

With your some 30 years background in woodworking we look forward to your LJ contributions. If you don’t know it already, one thing LJs really love is seeing projects and members’ workshops. Some (or a lot of) pictures of your shop would be very valuable and truly greatly appreciated.

Work and ride safe,
Peter
