I am a certified arborist and tree care company owner of 13 years. 2 years ago i decided to start saving some of the wood from tree removals and have been making all kinds of stuff. My skill level is basic but i have free material and a good understanding of the body mechanics of trees and the wood products sawn from them. My favorite reads are Ellsworth and Nakashima.
I have enjoyed wood working and turning from an early age 10.
I live south of portland and also have family in Brazil .
I speak english spanish and portuguese.
Im a total wood addict no chance of recovery.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.
