Im 47 years old and semi retired due to a back injury, I fell off a roof breaking three ribs and damaging my sternum and shoulder blade. I have been a carpenter since I was 23 and did my trade with my father who was a self employed carpenter/joiner for over 40 years, I started making models after finding making toys (for my kids) not challenging enough. I am a self taught designer of wood products and an adept draughts man also self taught, my ambition was to write a book similar to the ones i was learning from in my early years, this I have achieved after working with wood for 24 years
