Andy,

How many more parts?

Do the students master the mortising by hand before doing it by machine?

Hi there Tom. One or two more parts. I need to glue it together, make the drawers, top and put some finish on it. Done enough for my student’s to get started.
I rather teach machine method then by hand. My reason is they can see what square and snug is from a machined mortise and tennon. Then when they attempt a hand made joint they at least know what it should look like.
