I remember making my first dovetail joint way back in high school wood shop. It was not that good. Having a good teacher makes all the difference. Good results are a combination of determination and a good teacher. Great job.

I never made dovetails in high school woodshop? Lathe, handtools, carving, hand planning, got to run my hand planned plaque through the big joiner. maybe that’s my problem….LOL! Nice progress!
