Planer Current Draw - 10 replies
I have just purchased a Powermatic 160 planer. It was not hard wired in the previous location but plugged into the wall. Where it is located in my shop is too far from the outlet and an extension cord is needed. The problem is that the motor is a single phase, 5 hp, 110 volt variety and I have read this size motor could pull well over 50 amps...

Table Saw Arbor - 20 replies
So, I thought I got a pretty good deal on a used PW table saw. It still may turn out to be, however, it appears as though there were some abuses. See the screwed up threads on the arbor. What is the best way of getting this fixed? Can I re-cut the threads or do i just need a new arbor?

Delta Jointer - 5 replies
I have just purchased what I feel is a nice Delta jointer 37-315. Everything seems to be in good shape except the tables are not moving freely. I can turn adjustment handles a couple of turns then they lock down. Could it be that the slides are just gunked up? How do I go about correcting this?
