I enjoy making small wood crafts. I've been making crafts for only 5 years which is how long I've had my scroll saw which is the tool I use most.
If you asked my wife she'd tell you I hoard wood, this is true; I'm always looking for wood and bringing it home.
I build for fun, mostly each piece I make is like a trophy for my accomplishment. Sometimes I display these items or make something with someone in particular in mind.
A fellow crafter once said, "If you take orders or build stock, your hobby becomes a job," well I already have a job. Beside, I usually make one piece once; after that I get bored with the design, so making stock would go against my grain (no pun intended).
