MAN CAVE!
Basement shop, partitioned from main finished area and HVAC systems.
Ran new dedicated electrical lines, sealed walls, floors.
All total, it equates to about a 2 car garage, but less open due to the floor plan of my basement.
When I partitioned the unfinished side, I probably could have used more space for the shop, and less space for the storage locker, because no matter how big you make it, you’ll always find a way to fill it up!
I still need to add some sound dampening on the ceiling beams. My table saw is right over the kitchen.
Thinking of getting one of those contractor’s boom-box radios too.

Andy, how about posting some pictures of your shop when you get the chance?

This is a nice collection of hand tools that you have and that is a really nice plane collection that you have to work with. I am sure the rest of the pictures will be just as interesting as this one.
