Practice stool
To those who asked how I shaped the seat of the stool. I made the seat in two pieces and used the bandsaw to cut out the general shape. I cut the general outside shape and then turned them on straight edge and cut the curved shapes for the seats. (Note save the cutoff from the outside shape to use when gluing them together) The front piece had the raised peak in the center and the back piece just had a single curve for the butt. I inserted the legs into the separate seats before putting the two pieces together. I used three biscuits to align the pieces together and then used the cutoff clamp and glue the seat together.
