I designed this project specifically for kids to make. I thought about what kinds of things I liked as a kid, and anything with a hidden compartment fascinated me. Even today, I would love to have one of those Scooby-Doo spinning bookcases that leads into another room! Anyway, this is an easy project that can be made with the fewest of tools and very little woodworking experience.

I am working on both tutorials for a couple of reasons, to correct many areas that were unclear and to add in all the fixes I made in the comments sections. Some of the pictures I used were no longer showing up due to a glitch on the website I had them stored at and the tutorial made little sense without them. So I decided the text needed redoing also. I am very busy right now, but hope to get around to it soon.Stay tuned.Andy
