From Logs To Lumber #2: Might of got a Curly Hard Maple log today

Today was mostly firewood but got one log that might be a Curly Maple. It is a little on the small size for a log but it had a lot of funny looking bumps and when I cut off a block from it the grains is going in a lot of different directions on the end from the chains saw cut. I only got a log 9 feet long and is only 10 inchs on the small end. If it won’t of had the funny looking grain I would of just cut it up for firewood.
