« Part 2: Been Milling Up Some Of My Logs Part 3 of New Toy series Part 4: Milling a nice size Elm log »

Well I remembered the camera today so here are some pictures.

This is the mill

Here is a picture of the logs that I had this morning

This is a picture of the lumber that I have cut so far. I need to sticker it yet. The front pile with the slab on top is my Cherry, Their is 30 boards plus the slab. The other tall pile is the Poplar with some Hard maple along side of it.

I wish there was a way to rent one of those at a decent rate down here… I am forever seeing Walnut, Pecan, and Mesquite logs being given away as firewood… Seen a few mesquites with some interesting looking burls on them going that way too. I could just cry…

Noticed the F150 in the pic. Is that what you used to tow the Woodmizer? (That looks like an F150 XL, meaning it either has the 4.2L V-6 or 4.6L V-8, my XLT has the 5.4L V-8…). I bet I could tow that pretty easily…

All I can think of is… “Got Mill?”

Have your say...
