First in a wood shop at the age of 5 to help my Grandpa, although no power tools until I was 10. Was avid at working wood until the end of high school (when I lost access to a decent shop, my bedroom didn't work very well). After working as a builder for awhile, and never being satisfied with the level of quality of contractors I worked for, branched out on my own. This allowed me to do the level of quality I desired and if doing it right took a little longer than I thought, oh well, I don't make as much. I've since taken a full-time job giving me the opportunity to practice my skills on a 100 year old 13,000 square foot mansion. Moving to a new house allows me the opportunity to actually set up a decent shop and I don't have to move my tools from job to job anymore! In the process of finishing my shop and looking forward to more time to actually focus on projects.

So It took me a long time, but I finally have two together and finished! Here they are: I used a double splined miter corner. The splines are out of some extra cherry I had laying around. I glued up the frames with the one spline...
