A few weeks back, my sister-in-law asked if I would build then an entertainment unit. Currently they have shelves below their wall-mounted flat-panel, but their little one is just starting to walk, and keeping components on the shelves is no longer a reasonable option. The space is very shallow (about 12”) due to an archway on the adjoining wall and moderately wide (about 36”). Part 2: Building the Doors

I’m not sure if this is standard practice or not, but when I’m building a piece where the dimensions don’t need to be exact, I start with the doors and build out from there.
