no previous part Part 1 of Hand Tool Woodworking series no next part

A side benefit to spending my weekends in the garage building my Roubo-ish workbench with mostly hand tools is that I’m losing weight! Bucking my usual winter trend. I wrote about it in my new blog here

Excerpt: ”It’s not just the physical exertion and the sweat though, it’s about not going to the fridge (or pantry, or cellar, or that stash of Hershey Kisses in the toolbox). Woodworking, more-so with handtools, is a continual series of mental challenges that put me into a “zone” of thought and action wherein hours and hours can be gobbled up in mental and physical activity. I simply forget to eat, in fact I have to be reminded several times to come to dinner.”
