Wood Talk Online interview

I’ve posted a couple of blog entries here at Lumberjocks about my show schedule so I could entice a bunch of other Lumberjocks to come out and we could meet when I’m in their area. I’m sure it’s been more of a thrill for me than it has for those who’ve made the trek out to meet me. On that front, there’s a couple more shows I’ll be attending this season but I’ll post about them a little later.

What I wanted to post about today was the fact that I’m being interviewed on Wood Talk Online tonight at 8:30 EST. If you’d like to read a little more about how this came about, check out my personal blog entry my travels over the last month or two.

In the interview tonight I talk about everything from how I got started in woodworking to the furniture I make and why I started a woodworking school. Hopefully, I’ll see a bunch of you there that I haven’t had a chance to meet at the shows (and those of you who I’ve met at the shows are more than welcome to check out the show tonight as well).

Thanks to Glen Huey and Chris Schwarz at Popular Woodworking for making the interview happen. Special thanks go out to Marc Spagnuolo and Matt Vanderlist for their willingness to include the interview on their spectacular show.

Crap – this is the first year in 5 years that I have not been in Ohio when the WoodWorks Show came through. I would have loved to meet you.

The flip side of that for me is that I am at home in Montana with my wife and dogs for once.

Karson,
Thanks. I’d say I’ll need it but we did the interview at PopWood last Monday. Marc and Matt won’t be grilling me.

Todd,

I understand the feeling. There’s always next year. Bring the wife and dogs, make it a family trip.
