Just thought I’d see if any of my fellow Lumberjocks are headed out to Exotic Lumber, Inc. in Gaithersburg, MD for the Lie-Nielsen hand tool event this Friday and Saturday (May 6 & 7). Raney Nelson of Daed Toolworks will be exhibiting as well. As an added bonus (if you can call it that), I’ll be premiering the new DVD I made for Popular Woodworking Magazine called “Cabriole Legs Simplified”. I won’t have copies of the DVD for sale but you can pre-order a copy on the magazine’s website. The LN hand tool events are always lots of fun. I hope to see lots of LJ’s there.

Better yet, why don’t you come to my hometown of Covington, KY and I’ll buy a copy of your DVD.
See ya in the Fall.

Hey, I’m a new member here. I’ve been on this site for countless hours and i thought it was only right to make it official. I’ve been on tour with my band for the last three weeks in 16 states and found out tonight (I’m somewhere in Michigan) that i’ll have friday off in my hometown of baltimore! All this to say I will be there friday! I’m the guy with the big beard and tattoos, my name’s ben, come say hi! Also thanks to all of you for posting your wisdom/tricks/tips/humor it’s helped me a ton as i’m a hand tool newbie! I even put together a kit that I take on tour to restore my old stanleys. Sorry for the long first post! Take care! ben
