Well, the season is in full swing. Baltimore was a blast! Now it’s time to gear up for the New England show this weekend. I’ll be doing both my dovetail demo and my carving demo at the show this weekend. I might even have a few surprises lined up for you folks in the Massachusetts area. If you’re within a resonable driving distance, swing by the show and drop into the booth. It’s always great to meet other Lumberjocks.

I JUST left a fellow LJ a message stating that I’m not sure if I’ll be making it to the show. I know of at least 4-5 more LJs that will be there, but after looking at the floor map it seems to be mainly vendor focused. Is there more to see at the show other than tools I’m not interested in buying?

Will be at the LJ booth for Saturday.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Purp,

You’re right, the show is primarily vendor based. I’ll be there but if that’s not enough for you then I can say that I will have at least one surprise guest in my booth on Saturday. Beyond that, you’ve got some other really cool educators putting on a variety of programs throughout the day during the show. There’s always something to be learned from showing up at one of these shows.

Charles,

Thanks for the kind words. You’re pretty good yourself. It was a great pleasure meeting you at the show as well. If you make it to the Chantilly show, you’ll have to join the lot of us for dinner.

As for the rest of you LJs who are planning on being at the show (as attendees or working the LJ booth), I’m really looking forward to meeting you. After several years of being on the show circuit, I can honestly say Lumberjocks are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I’m looking forward to it.

Denis,

The show is this weekend. That’s Friday the 14th, Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th. It would be great to meet you. Hopefully, there’ll be LOTS of LJs there (given there’s a booth).

I’ll be setting up/working the booth with Dave (sikrap) on Friday and possibly just wandering around on Sunday. Should be a bunch of fun.

2011-2012 is over now.
The dates run pretty close each year,
here is the schedule for the last tour.
