This weekend, June 25 and 26, Lie-Nielsen is having their final hand tool event for the season at the shop of the legendary Frank Klausz. I’ll be there demonstrating some carving techniques and I’m wondering if any of my fellow Lumberjocks will be there as well?

Here's a link to LN’s webpage about the event. I hope to see lots of LJ’s there.

Sounds like a great place to be, But, alas I can’t be there.

I went to the one in MA. it’s a nice event – well worth checking out if anyone has the chance to do so, more so in this case, with the opportunity to meet a fellow LJ :)

Good luck with the presentation.

PurpLev,

But that LJ is just me…unless you were referring to Simoogle. :)

It is fun and it’s far more than just a buying opportunity. The folks from Lie-Nielsen will be demonstrating various hand tool techniques. Matt Bickford will also be there demonstrating his molding planes. Even if you don’t end up purchasing something, you stand a pretty good chance of learning a few things. Best of all, it’s free!

And Karson, whatever the reason is…it’s no excuse ;) Catch you and David next time.

Simoogle, make sure to say hello.

I’ll be the for sure. I visited 3 years ago with the NJ Woodturners. Frank has an awesome shop with lots of old tool collections. Frank is a wonderful teacher and outstanding person. If you’re nearby, this is a not to miss event.
