Cutting board question #1: is ipe, epe ok to use for cutting boards???
My shop group ( Retired folk) was donated many short cut offs of ipe, epe..Can they be used for making cutting boards? I know this stuff is hard and hard on tools…is it hard on people who use them?should we just throw it away or make someth...

Welcome to LJ’s, correct me if I’m wrong, however your reference to Pinole and Mt Diablo, I am going to guess your some where in California. I grew up in Cupertino. Looked at your projects nice boxes, I have tried many and get better every time, should have taken a class and saved some tim and wood.
