LAMP TABLE #1: LAMP TABLE - THE MORTISES

!http://(Mortise 2)!I was at a local joinery the other day so I decided to pick up so lumber for the lamp table project I was thinking of doing. I picked up some 2×2 american white oak. I went home that day and cut the oak down to 4 18inch lenghts for the legs. I marked the mortises out using a mortise gauge and decided to route the mortises out as i have never tried this method before. ( I’m a hand tool guy ) For this I though I’d go out ant treat my self to a new router bit, I picked up a 1/2’’ trend routing plunge cutting bit. ( I think trend router bits are now out in the states there worth a try ). I used the side fence on my router and cut the haunched...
