Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Thanks to everyone;
I have never done any woodturning before but I graduated from a trade school in Worcester, MA As a machinist. Then worked for Spectran/Lucent Technologies of Sturbridge, MA I ran Litton lathes to manufacture fiber optics using the MCVD (Modified Chemical Vapor Deposition) method. So now, I thought I could try woodturning.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom
