Ever since I can remember I always loved finding out how things work. I was lucky enough to have a crazy inventor father that had a lab in our basement, where I messed around with everything I could get my hands on. My mother was an artist from Germany so the house was full of interesting things including her own oil paintings. I never really thought of woodworking as a life pursuit and followed the dull path of school for lack of anything better to do until I was awakened by a Graphic design class which became my Major. During school I worked at a cabinet shop doing the typical kitchen stuff and was not impressed. It wasnt until I met my now wife and her family who encouraged my pursuits did I decide to go for it. I made a few things for them and followed that by several things for our loft style condo we bought right after we married. 20 yrs and two kids later I have survived as a professional. I stay very busy with interesting projects and feel that I got lucky to find such a rewarding life.
I also enjoy playing and making guitars, cooking, building computers, online gaming and renovating yet another home.
