Updated 29 November 2010.
I am resurrecting my workshop after many years of neglect. I have always enjoyed the little bit of woodworking I have done over the years and am making it more of a regular hobby.
I was born and raised in Indiana and moved to New York after college. I worked for a large global corporation and enjoyed working with people from many countries and learning about their cultures.
I joined Lumberjocks after reading a blog on the problem someone was having with Woodplanes. I was having trouble getting my menagerie of planes working and was about to try buying a new less expensive plane and found the blog. It helped me to decide to continue to work with the planes I have and wait until I can find or afford a good new plane. So I appreciated the site before I joined in early 2010.
I don't have a lot of quality equipment and I am trying to use what I have fixing up what isn't working or make something I don't have. Equipment cost will be an issue for me for some time.
My father owned a restaurant and drew the little Elf I use for an icon. I am his youngest son.
