This is a tool I wish I never would have purchased. I would have prefered to get by using a coping saw and dealing with a blister or thirty. This tool generates such a level of frustration that it is amazing that the same engineers who design Dewalt, Porter Cable, and Delta could allow such a monstrosity to leave the lab. One of the first purchases I made was a Veritas sharpening jig. I had been researching woodworking for several years before buying a single tool while I attended MTU. One thing I noticed time and time again was the fact that tools must be sharp. Beyond sharp they must be properly sharp, with a proper angle, back bevel and micro bevel! We all have made a bad tool choice. For alot of folks I hear of that old favorite the wobble dado cutter. For me it has been a few Black and Decker tools. I bought this drill for approximately $30. It is a rather featureless drill, it has a keyless chuck which is the one reason it got more then one star. The chuck holds tightly and I have yet to have a bit spin loose and I can still loosen it by hand. The other star got added because at least it spins. Now to the interesting points. ...
