You came to the right place to share and learn about woodworking. This is the single best gathering of various skills and talents. Everyone is very willing to share and I think you will love it here.

Hey Casey,
I just read over you 4 blog posts.
I’m in the same boat as you, being a newbie with limited funds for tools, but a desire to do something tactile, rather then just working on the computer.Yes sometimes family and other responsibilities do get in the way.
Best of luck.

Go Huskies! I try and make it up every year for the Parade of Nations and Winter Carnival. Not to make you feel old Scott but I graduated in ‘05… so 21 years afterwards!

Hey Yooper! Glad you found this site. Escabanana, eh? I spent about 8 years in the lovely U.P. I only left when they closed the Air Force Base (K.I. Sawyer, but I know, you’re too young to remember that).
Welcome to LJs!
