Heyo Folks,
Recently graduated electrical/aerospace/automation engineer from MTU in Houghton. Married with a wife, and a boston terrier and a cat. Fairly new to woodworking, I find that now that I don't get to work with my hands alot at work that it gives me an excellent outlet when I'm out of work to get the creative juices flowing.
The Wood Whisperer is what really got me into it, nice to see someone my age woodworking, I was getting the feeling (no offense intended here) that woodworking books and videos were "By retirees, for retirees". Marc S proved me wrong! You rock dude, wicked sweet for sure.

Hey Casey,
I just read over you 4 blog posts.
I’m in the same boat as you, being a newbie with limited funds for tools, but a desire to do something tactile, rather then just working on the computer.Yes sometimes family and other responsibilities do get in the way.
