I have always had a fascination with woodworking mostly thanks to my grandpa who always had hammer, nails and scrap lumber for me when I was a kid. I got sidetracked throughout the years with Computers, Getting Married, Starting a family and a Consulting businesses. I have never gotten that first nice project underway. That is going to change, i am getting ready to build my first nice project for none other than my Grandfather for Christmas this year.

Hello Xodus,

-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Thanks for the Welcome, have to say this is the first board that I have joined and received a ton of welcome messages that weren’t automated. I stumbled across this site looking for ideas and cabinetmaster is correct it is very addictive.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom
