CATCH-22
I found myself in the midst of a woodworking catch-22 today, at least for a while, until a low level epiphany saved the day for me. I’m pretty new here and haven’t tried blogging yet so this gives me a good excuse to try it out. First, I’ll give m...

Wudwrkr,
Let me welcome you to LJs. I hope that you will find this to be an exciting and rewarding part of your woodworking adventure.

Thanks fellas, I appreciate the warm and friendly welcome. As you know I’m new here, but I’m even newer than you might think. Today was the first time I have ever been on this site, but after a bit of poking around and reading rules I knew right away that it was my kinda place! Your welcome confirms it!! I look forward to learning and sharing (mostly learning) with you all.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Welcome to LJ’s. I live only a few miles from you. I drive past LeRoy 3-5 times a week on my way to Champaign.

Thanks again for all the welcomes everyone. This is such a great site and LJs are the best and it looks like one of y’all is a neighbor – Hi trifern!
I see from the location of your workshop that you aren’t far at all, in fact, I am in the habit of having breakfast every Saturday morning just south of you in Heyworth. Saturday is my main woodworking day and I start out there with a woodworking magazine to read between bites and then either head back to the shop or go north to B-N to pick up supplies and then head to the shop. Maybe we can hook up for a cup some day.
Speaking of my shop, I haven’t posted any pics yet because I’m trying to get it a little farther towards being finished. However, that looks more and more like a long term WIP. I know how much we all like to each other’s shops so I think I’ll get some pics posted this weekend. I really enjoy seeing everyone elses shops.
Did I mention what a great place I think LumberJocks is? Thanks Martin and thanks to everyone for making it the most ‘real’ place on the internet.
