Hello WoodyWoodWrecker,
Let me welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find being a member of this group to be both a rewarding and an inspirational part of your woodworking adventure.
-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Thanks for your comments but I haven’t made what I would consider an actual project. I am currently in the process of building a very small shop, 10’ x 12’. I’m using a lot of material from demo’ing a room off of my parent’s old house. When I get it built, I’m going to demo the rest of the house and reclaim a lot more. Some of the oldest parts of the house has rough sawn oak studs and even rough sawn 1” x 10” oak planks that was used as paneling. I believe they are oak, I’m not good at identifing wood, yet. When I finish my shop, I’ll put a blog up about it. I’ve taken some time lapse video of the demo and plan to do the same for the erection of the shop.
Thanks again

There is still quite a bit of defuzzing to do.I mostly use a Dremel tool and the 3m sanding fingers. Its a lot easier since they upgraded the programs to include a “optimum” setting it takes a lot longer but sure is a lot less clean up.Also makes a big difference in what type of wood you feed the machine,so far Cedar has the least to clean up and Sycamore is a close second.
