New Use for Old Water Skis

I had a customer bring me 3 water skis and asked me to build a corner shelf for them. It sounded straight forward until I started thinking about how to make sure the skis were square and plumb when I built it. I ended up mocking up a wall in the workshop so I could get all the parts lined up and determine the dimensions of the shelf unit.

I made a video of the project if you’re interested to see how I overcame the challenge and how it all came together. It was a fun project, including some restoration work on the vintage skis. https://youtu.be/-gTaSrWcnBQ

Let me know what you think. Scott
