« Part 2: paint organized Part 3 of shop remodel series Part 4: Un-Cluttering/saw station »

I am in the middle of building a kitchen table (which if you would like to see the progress on that I do have a blog on that too). I am absolutely tired of the clutter and have to constantly pull out one saw from the clutter and put it back to use another tool… driving me NUTS!

So here are a few examples of the craziness I’m talking about…

As you can see it has gotten way out of hand with the stacks of scrap and just…. grrr I am getting irritated just thinking about it lol. I am a very anal person with my shop and my tools and I feel like im going to have an anxiety attack working in here.

My plan for the tomorrow and the next week or so hopefully between finishing the table is to build a Miter saw/Radial arm saw bench with possibly some storage underneath. I have been doing a lot a diggn’ online on different sites and where ever to find some good ideas for this so if anyone has any pictures of their own or sites to check out I would be overwhelmingly grateful! :)

Yeah looks like that shop could become a great place to work and be creative with a little love. Looking forward to see where you are taking it!

Yeah it is a small area but if I do it right I think I could have a pretty functional area. I just keep explaining to my wife if I can make my shop more efficient that means just that many more things I can make her :)
