Well, after nearly 45 years in law enforcement I have finally retired. Even though my wife thought I could go another 10. I spend a great deal of time in my shop. Or as my wife refers to it the Man Shrine. I enjoy most areas of wood working and especially enjoy scroll sawing. I have been doing woodworking as a hobby for about 25 years and scrolling for about 12 years. I am just now starting to get into marquetry and have meet some great people on LJ that have helped me out a great deal. I have 4 children and 12 grandchildren and most of my projects seem to be keeping up with their want lists. I would love to learn to turn, carve, do intarsia, and improve my finishing skills. So much to do and so little time. lol I thought I would have more time for the shop now that I am retired but I seem to be busier now than when I was working.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
