no previous part Part 1 of Some mornings, it really DOES pay to chew through the straps. series no next part

Sometimes, going out drinking with my family can provide me with inspiration. I think (maybe, I dunno…) I have finally come to the decision on the kind if bench I am going to build! I’ve only been agonizing/debating/pulling out my hair about this since, ummm, forever.

I have looked at thousands of different displays of some of the best and beautiful to the strangest and weird benches out there. Some seem like they might require a doctorate to build while others vaguely resemble the April 1st multi-tool that was posted here on LJ. I tend to lean towards the idea of simple and sturdy right now as I have BARELY begun this entertaining journey of amateur woodworker.

I shall post pictures as I continue on and show all the completed product (hopefully with a great amount of elation) as soon as I get it done!

Oh yeah, by the way, I plan on making MY version of Joshua Finn’s Stowaway Bench. As always, comments, questions, and certainly critiques are welcome below.
