2364 posts in 1085 days Location: Sabina,Ohio I am disabled but I do not let it get me down,I love woodworking and my favorite things to make are Finger Rings and Hand canes. I think my favorite wood is Walnut! But I really like a lot of them. I was a auto Mechanic for most of my life, I worked for one of Dayton, Ohio's largest and only American owned Cab Company. I have done many jobs in my life kinda Jack of all trades, I can no longer work due to my various health problems( some Life Threatening) but I really find working with wood soothes and heals a lot. I also like collecting and building scale models, mostly auto's. I really enjoy my kids and watching all the activities they do,"many of them". I now live in Sabina, Ohio to be closer to my kids and this little town has really grown on me! I do not have a shop, I do most of my work with hand tools.

Welcome to lumber jocks. I have learned a lot here, and there are some great guys here who are always willing to answer questions (me included). I hope you enjoy your time here. Thanks for the comments on my projects, and I love the rings. I want to fingure out how to make them myself, but I dont have a lathe and am a little nervous to try just yet lol.
