I am a Christian and fairly new to woodworking. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to the garage makes you a car. The same is true of my wood working. Going to the woodshop does not make me a woodworker. I love working with wood but I have a very long way to go to become proficient. Greene and Greene is my love and after taking a weekend course for the joinery found in Greene and Greene, I am ready.... to take another course. Ha Ha. Yep, there's still more to learn. Meanwhile though I will just continue to make bits of fire wood out of perfectly good lumber. Makin Sawdust is what it's about.
God bless you all.
Michael.

Karson, Be sure to pst pictures eithe of the process or at least the finished product. When I took the Greene and Greene course given by Darrel Peart up in Port Angeles, WA., he had us build just one corner of an end table. Looks pretty nice, but my wife now wants the other three corners. Picture in my projects.

I saw your comment on spalting wood and have a question. How long do you need to leave the wood in the compost pile before removing it.
