Monday through Friday I am an Electrical Contractor and sometimes Saturday, OK Sunday too if I make the mistake of answering the phone.
My joy of woodworking came at an early age. Down in the basement with my fathers worn out hand-me -down tools. My parents made such a fuss, this was all the insperation I needed. I had tried to keep my hand in it, making things out of neccessity, but things got in the way.
You know like school,a stint in the Army, and children. As I got older. things have gotten a little easer. I had carved out a section of the basement and added tools and machinery as needed. At first, I began repairing that so called " Quality" furniture. So why stop there? Let's build it right the 1st time. Here I go armed and hopfully not to dangerously.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

I would like thank everyone for the warm welcome. I am pleased to see that the part-time and full time woodworker has not gone the way of the Dodo.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
