This is Part 1 of a new build. How to build an Octagon Picnic Table. For as long as I can remember I wanted to build an Octagon Picnic Table and I looked everywhere for a good design and plan. Well I finally found one that was perfect for my patio. I got this design from Woodcraft Magazines April May issue Volume 10. It was a design and article by Bill Sands. Bill did a great job with this article and made it very easy to follow along. He built his table out of cedar and wow did it look great. My table is build from Pressure Treated Pine and the material cost was around $152 US. I hope my build videos are as easy for you to follow as Bill made his article…

Plans and a cut list will be provided by the end of the build and will be available on my website shortly. In the meantime I recommend trying to get a hold of this Bill’s article from Woodcraft Magazine.

Looks like a gr8 outside table.
