For a very long time now I have been wanting to learn how to turn on a lathe. Well recently I was able to purchase a lathe using a Gift card I won thanks to your votes. My first project, wow, well since I am a fan of pen turning, I thought that would be the place to start. So I turned a Bullet Pen. This is a 30 caliber bolt action bullet pen kit and man is it cool. I will be making more of these for sure. I really enjoyed turning and I can see where I will be doing a lot of it in the future as I start practicing. Thank you for watching as I begin my turning journey.

This Pen is up for auction on Facebook If you would like to bid on it Click Here The proceeds go towards turning supplies to help me kick off this turning journey

Also wanted to say Thank you for your support which allowed me to get the lathe!

Nicely turned pen, especially for a first. Great little lathe too. My son has a similar one and you can turn a lot of different projects on it. Congratulations on on both.

good job, Laney! Glad to see you put your contest winnings to good use. I was one of the many voting for you in that contest. You might want to check out www.woodturningz.com. You can save some money on those pen kits there.
