I had a lot of email requests for the plans for this.
They will be available for purchase for $29.95 when I finally get them done..
When completed I will be posting them on my website you’ll be able to pay for them with a credit card or Paypal
My company website link is: http://www.bigfootproducts.ca/
The gears took me forever to get right but I finally got it worked out. Popeye had to be
proportioned correctly, arm length, height, then the oars etc. A lot of work went into this design.

Another Gear Driven Rower (different than my gears) Retails for $450.00 They will not sell the plans.

No problem! I have an idea for a couple. Since 2 is the limit, I will choose the best of the ideas and enter 2 if I can. New baby, new job and honey do list prevent most shop time.

Just an interesting note. Next week’s video on The New Yankee Workshop site is for a whirlygig. Maybe someone can get some inspiration there. Or maybe Norm would like to enter the contest.

Michael, I think the best way to get inspired is do an image search on Google for Whirligigs, look at the range of variety, and get your ideas and inspiration from them.. you may run across one that sparks an idea, which leads into a design for a unique and fun project… Id love to see you and matthew throw you hats in the ring.. Good Luck!!! :O)
