For over 20 years I have been a designer and importer of home accessories, gift, home decor, and holiday decor. I have also spent many years buying and importing antiques from Europe. My woodworking has been my "Soul Cleansing" as it is the exact opposite of the "knock-off" stuff I import. As this industry has always exposed me to interior designers, I have always taken on furniture commissions from those who prefer to have the real thing instead of the disposable versions made in China.
As for "What's with the avatar?", my nephews made that for me to hang on the entrance to my wood shop. Maybe I should call it my "Wood Fort" instead!
