Wow, guys, thank you!

I am from Brazil and I log daily to “www.guiadomarceneiro.com”. It’s the ONLY decent site in Brazil for woodworking fans. And when we look at the whole North america with hundreds os sites and fans and etc…it’s disappointing. But we are like a family at that site! We even had three gatherings in three different cities to know each other, instead of just talking through the internet: those are the best. Lots of fun, talking, jokes and, of course, woodtalk! And I see that I can find that kind of spirit here, too! Of course the language will be a difficulty to win and there won’t be any gatherings (at least not for me…lol). But I am happy to be part of this tender family!
I am barely a woodworker. I am mostly stubborn, as I had no personal knowledge supplier. All I know is from “www.guiadomarceneiro.com”, from a lot of north-american and european sites. Since last year I was given the opportunity by my mother-in-law of using a workshop that belonged to the deceased father of my wife, who unfortunately I never got the chance of meeting, though. It was very messy, with a lot of garbage and old things from everybody of the family, as it served to dump thigs that didn’t matter anymore…so the work spent there to clean the place and turn it into usable is monstruous. But worthy, otherwise I would never have a place to start.

Thanks a lot for the warm reception!
