Location: Alamogordo, NM...for now. Originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Website:

I am a novice when it comes to techniques and actual wood. I love to create things, and put them down with wood. I have been back at it for about 3 months now and have made a work bench, toy box, jewelry box (for my wife), the things women put their hair dryer and curl irons on (For my wife, mother, and mother-in-law), bird houses, and some odds and ends. I am using oak plywood right now, just so I don't make an expensive mistake. I really signed up here to make some wood working friends and bend the ears of the pros. I'll put some pictures up soon.

Thank you. I have been out of wood working for a while. I’m happy to see that it is still alive and well. I’ll post some pictures on here, once I figure it out. Thanks again.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. I’m still kind of new here myself. Thanks for your very generous compliments about my jewelry cabinet. I look forward to seeing some of your projects soon.

Thank you all for the welcome. How do I add a picture to an already existing project?

I really am. Thank you. My wife said that I’m scary obsessed, last night. I was only looking at wood, in a new book that I bought, trying to memorize the grain patterns. What’s wrong with that?

Nothing, but when you wake up and there are splinters and sawdust in your bed your wife is gonna make you sleep on the couch.
