I made and designed this piece for some good friends of mine that just finished building a modern 6 story home looking over Seattle’s lake Union. I chose to use maple as the primary wood in order to match the butcher counter tops in his kitchen and an ebonized maple legs & arched aprons, ebony splines, & ebony inlays to match is black leather furniture in the adjacent living room. My grateful friends are now enjoying their table in their 4th floor dining room while watching the seaplanes land on the lake. (He purchased the chairs in his own.)

Welcome to LumberJocks!

I like the table – you should make a posting!

This is an awesome group of woodworkers that generously share their talents, passion and interest in woodworking. We are looking forward to your projects and input.

Not to hit you up with this too early, but please notify Tom of any tools you are willing to share with your fellow LumberJocks!

By the way, don’t worry too much about the Lumebrjock Shop Inspection. While it seems intimidating the day they visit, Douglas and Ms Debbie are pretty kind!

LumberJocks is the premier member based woodworking site.
