Morning…
I know this in nothing compaired to the hoards and wonderful things you guys stumble/fall into but, I’m damn pumped about it.

Just scored these babies from a friend (now, a very, very, dear, sweet, wonderful friend).
A set of thirty, brand new, diamond tipped, bits for my Dremel.
SAAAAAA-WEEEEEEEEEET! (Yes, I did, in fact, pee myself… just a little….)

And as luck would have it, my old friend “Passed Away”, Sunday afternoon and will never share them with me… So, I am gonna have to pull a Lowe’s Run and check out a replacement for him.

Awesome! – That you peed yourself of course :) I was just cursing my dull dremel bit the other day. Pick up two new friends at Lowes and I’ll give you my address. Seriously though, that is a very sweet find and I’m jealous.

(Insert evil laughter, here…)
:?)

Had that rascal Dremel for about 7.5 years… just turned it off and, when I picked it up again, na-da… ungrateful POS.
Any experience with the extention Dremel? (Class? Anyone?)
You know the type where you have a hand held piece that cables off of the base unit?
All I have ever used is the regular hand held… hmmmm…..

I know… I know…
I’m gonna have to just suck it up… be the bigger man… face the final hill and ROAD TRIP TO LOWE’S! Yipppppeee!~

Lowe’s is the only place a man can:
1.) buy “Lubricant”
2.) pick up “protection”
3.) get “wood”
...and still brag about it in front of his mother-n-law.
(the above statement was just that… a statement… not meant to offend anyone… unless they REALLY needed to be offended and, in that case, you are welcome.)

I am sooooo ready to go home and work some wood!
Working on an Ashanti Doll and these bits are really let me throw in some detail.

Later, Gator.
Lator, Gater?
Laiter, Gaiter??
What ever….

Got to run, but I wanted to say thanks real fast and say good score.

I’ve gone through about five dremells and three Roto-zips. I bought the two year warranty the second time and so far when I burn up one I just go down and get another.
Get the flex shaft. You’d be hard pressed to use those diamond tips in the hand held.

Thanks again for your support and make some more sawdust…..................

Ok…
(Jack)
Thanks for the info.
(Need to check out a “flex shaft”.) Will do.
Enjoy your ride.

(Greg)
Nope… don’t drink “Rockstar” Is that like “Redbull”?
Nope… can’t do sugar… but, I have had my routine two pots of coffee and number three is brewing. Why do you ask?

Very nice. I have a Craftsman knock-off of a Dremel and I use a flexible shaft thing quite often. Last week Woodcraft had a special 20-bit set just like that for only $4.99 so I got one set just cuz. I haven’t used them yet, but they look good.

Saw your supportive comment on the carousel horse. Looked at your home page. Go make chips!!!! Enjoy your mistakes. Make some new ones. :) Take small steps. Think outside the box, but don’t forget what’s inside???? Enjoy the wood and the ride.

Thanks, Thomas.
I looked around for some of the things I have done (and kept) so as to post them as projects…something OTHER THAN SAWDUST!
I don’t have a lot… couple of things, tops.

You know, Ten/twelve hour days make for very short nights…but, tonight, I’m “making chips” and getting busy. Neighbors will just have to crank up the music, right?
Besides, how will kids learn what words NOT to say if they never hear them?!
(again… evil laughter, here)
“Think outside the box, but don’t forget what’s inside????”
I am stealing that line… just so you know.
Appreciate the support.

Pass it around, just thought of it. Usually ask people to “think outside the box.” But Most of who we are is inside? I continue to fire and re hire me, and dock my wages to boot, because I measure 3 times and still get it wrong! But small consistant steps do get me there. LOL

Morning, ‘Chip-monks’...
(ahem…)
I have a new Dremel… you don’t have one… ha, ha, ha, ha, haaaaaaaaaaa, ha.
Nee-ner, nee-ner, nee-ner!

Picked up the Dremel 4000 for $108.00 came with scads of attachments and accessories, Saturday.
No, didn’t go with the Flex attachment… Needed the $30 to go toward a replacement curved-shaft head for my Trimmer.
So… that means, tonight after work, my behind will be parked in my “shop” along with the three ‘buhl-dawgies’ cranking out some dust… that is, unless:
1.) the temp is more than 103*
2.) I don’t have any Guinness
3.) There are unscheduled showings on the house. (last showing, I was caught off guard wearing nothing but a pair of workout-shorts, sweat and sawdust and sporting a primo ‘goggle face’. HA! No… they did not make me an offer… or one on the house, either! F.Y.I.

Later, gators.
