Hey all, just created a profile after lurking for several weeks and getting lots of great information. I was an avid woodworker back in the early to mid 90s, building our queen size 4 post cherry bed, tall chest of drawers, night stands, entertainment center, end tables, and on and on and on. Work and family and other activities caused me to drift away from it for a long time, but recently I have gotten the bug to build again. This time I am interested more in little things, boxes, small cabinets, etc.
I am in the process of setting up a new shop in my basement. My wife bought me a complete Woodpeckers setup for routing, and I purchased a Delta dust collector, a bunch of Woodpeckers accessories, a PC router motor for the table, a Craftsman belt/disc sander and just ordered a Grizzly G0513X2 on Friday.
Looking forward to having a lot of fun and getting lots of good ideas here. Merry Christmas!

Welcome to the world of madness! You’re gonna love that bandsaw. I’ve got that same saw (17” Extreme Series, right?). I’ve added a few mods which I really like so send me a pm after you get it set up and I’ll share ideas with you.
