Currently building a small fuctional shop (in my garage) buying used tools from Craigslist. I currently have the following:

Ridgid 1300 13” Planer With Stand (used from CL – $150 – very good condition, cleaning needed) (Ridgid JP06101 6 1/8” Jointer With Mobile Base (used from CL – $150 – very good condition, cleaning needed) Delta 28-203 14” Band Saw With Riser And Mobile Base (Made In America Version) (used from CL – $250 – like new condition) Jet JDP-17MF 16.5” Drill Press (used from CL – $250 – like new condition) Bosch 1617EVSPK Router Kit (used from CL – $120 – good condition) Delta AP400 Dust Collector (used from CL – $100 – average condition, usable, but needs replacement bags) Ridgid 16 Gallon Shop Vac + All Accesories (used from CL – $40 – good condition, cleaning needed) Craftsman 21805 15 AMP 10” Benchtop Tablesaw (New As Christmas Gift In 2009) Craftsman 21237 15 AMP 10” Sliding Compound Miter Saw (New As Christmas Gift In 2009) Older But Working Craftsman Router With Router Table (Craftsman As Well), Mounted On Home-made Stand *Countless Clamps – Pipe, Bar, C Styles (all used from CL)

And I’m still looking for more of the basic tools, but now I have to further clean the tools I have and learn more about using them.

Wickate, your shop sounds interesting. I will second Splinterman’s comment about the pictures.

Pictures would be disappointing as of now. All of my tools currently reside in my two car garage, with said two cars – so they’re all pushed against the walls. Very soon I will be granted permission to set up a modular shop (by the Great One – the wife). That will likely correspond with the purchase of a new vehicle to accommodate our family (have our first child – now 9 months old and the old cars just aren’t cutting it), along with a brand new SawStop – SOON!! Thanks for the kind comments – pictures will be posted as the shop emerges.

Hey Wickate,

Glad to see another Arizonian on the site, looks like your getting a good set of tools from CL, hope to see some good projects. As with you, I am not new but still a child in woodworking years and I have learned a lot on this site.

Would like to see some pics.
