Put up a post over at www.woodshopcowboy.com documenting the build of this shaving horse, as promised. I should have an idea about how she works, maybe a video, tomorrow.

That’s alJim – It’s really a piece for a student to make a cane with, so I’ll see where it takes me. But if she sticks together for a year I’ll be happy. The posts & broom parts should hold up well to the weather, and I can rebuild very quickly if needed….now that I know what I’m doing.

Seat looks more comfortable than on most shaving horses!

Looks good, but I have never seen a shaving horse with a saddle before.

The seat’s taken from a busted weight machine. If you have a cushion available, why not use it right?
